ARTS AT THE CAPITOL THEATER

ACT provides a supportive and welcoming environment where students from diverse backgrounds can express themselves through art. The school's philosophy, "Respect Yourself, Respect the Work, and Respect the Community," fosters a sense of belonging in a small, tightly knit community that helps students thrive. Beyond performances, students engage in clubs, volunteer activities, advisory groups, and school-wide events like field trips and dances, promoting meaningful connections with their peers.

What are students and parents saying about ACT?

Message from ACT Principal Sarah Mallory

Sarah Mallory

Welcome, ACT family!

With just a few weeks left in the school year, this is one of the most exciting times to be at Arts at the Capitol Theater. The growth we've witnessed — in your artistry, your confidence, and your character — has been extraordinary, and the best is still ahead.

As we move toward end-of-year performances, celebrations, and milestones, keep our core value of RESPECT at the center of everything you do: Respect Yourself, Respect the Work, Respect the Community. These aren't just words — they're what you've been living every day, and they'll carry you far beyond this stage.

To our graduating students: we're so proud of how far you've come. To everyone returning next year: finish strong and carry the spirit of this community with you into the summer.

Let's close this chapter the ACT way — with passion, purpose, and a standing ovation.
