Accreditation Quality Improvement System (AQIS) is an established resource system of regional teams providing critical leadership and support for the achievement of quality standards and excellence in early childhood programs, specifically those related to program accreditation by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). AQIS services include: overviews of NAEYC's Program Standards and Accreditation Performance Criteria; group training and support sessions; technical assistance with the process of accreditation; and individualized support for programs engaged in the self-study. NAEYC accreditation is a national hallmark of quality in early childhood education. As Connecticut programs move forward with NAEYC accreditation, the AQIS can support you.
