Prior to being named Director of Pupil Services, Amy Margelony served as the program’s Interim Director. She also worked as Assistant Director of Pupil Services for EASTCONN. Amy joined EASTCONN in April of 2013 as a Program Director for one of the agency’s Clinical Day Treatment Programs. Prior to her roles at EASTCONN, Amy worked as a classroom teacher for several years and as an Assistant Principal of East Hartford Middle School. She also began her own consulting company and worked as a special education advocate, assisting many families throughout Connecticut. Amy obtained her bachelor’s degree in Social Work at Central Connecticut State University. She continued her education at the University of Hartford, where she earned a master’s degree and certification in Elementary Education. She later earned her 6th-year degree in School Administration at UCONN.
