Dr. Magliocco is the Coordinator of Assistive Technology and Related Services at EASTCONN.   She received her doctorate in special education from the University of Connecticut in 2001.  Dr. Magliocco holds a CT physical therapy license and is a RESNA certified Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) and a Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS).  Dr. Magliocco oversees the range of services provided by the Assistive Technology and Related Services Teams, including overseeing the contracts for and delivery of services and planning for internal and external professional development activities.    As part of the assistive technology program, Dr. Magliocco coordinates various partnerships with the Bureau of Rehab Services including the operation of a Lending Library and services for adults in the areas of employment and access to telecommunications for the Deaf/Blind population. Ms. Norton is an Assistive Technology Professional and Transition Coordinator at EASTCONN.  She works with individuals with disabilities across the lifespan providing assessment, consultation and training.  She assists districts with integrating the use of assistive technology into the general education classroom, curriculum and transition planning.  Additionally, she works with the CT Tech Act and the Department of Rehabilitation Services (DORS) to assist adults with disabilities in preparing for work and in accomplishing tasks in the work settings.  She assists in meeting the telecommunications needs of individuals who are deaf/blind through the Access through Technology Program coordinated by the CT Tech Act.  She is a RESNA certified Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) and a Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS).

Ms. Fulton is a Registered, Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of Connecticut as well as an Assistive Technology Professional and Aging-in-Place Specialist. She received her undergraduate degree from Eastern Connecticut State University and a Certificate in Occupational Therapy from Quinnipiac University. Ms. Fulton has worked as an Occupational Therapist for 30 years in Public Schools, with a concentration in assistive technology for the past 15 years. At EASTCONN, Ms. Fulton provides assistive technology services to school districts including AT evaluation, training and consult to a variety of individuals with varying disabilities and age levels. Ms. Fulton has presented on Assistive Technology topics at both statewide and international conferences.

Ann Bedard is a Speech-Language Pathologist and Assistive Technology Specialist on the EASTCONN AT Team and has been working with students with disabilities since 2006. She provides a wide range of AT services to school districts including assessment, consultation, and professional development. Prior to working with the AT Team, Ann worked in the EASTCONN Related Services Group as a school-based SLP where she provided interventions for students with a variety of speech and language disorders including students using AAC. Ann has also concurrently worked in the home setting to deliver speech-language services through EASTCONN’s Birth-to-Three program. She received her Bachelor’s degree from UConn and Master of Science degree in Communication Disorders from Southern Connecticut State University. While pursuing her graduate degree, Ann worked in the Center for Adaptive Technology where university students utilized AT. Her experience working with individuals with disabilities from birth through post-secondary education has provided Ann with a uniquely beneficial perspective. She is a certified TouchChat trainer. Ann has given numerous presentations at the regional, state, and national level on topics such as Intro to AAC Implementation, Spectrum of AAC from Low to High-Tech, Apps for AAC: The Fantastic 4, Visual Strategies to Support Communication and Learning, and Myths of AAC.

JoAnne Lambert is an Assistive Technology Specialist and Speech-Language Pathologist within EASTCONN’s Related Services group.  She received her Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Rhode Island.  JoAnne provides a wide range of speech and language services across Northeast Connecticut including assessment and intervention for a variety of communication disorders.  Prior to working for EASTCONN, Joanne worked as a medical-based speech-language pathologist for over 10 years, providing speech and language services to both adults and children.
