This project provides five hours of instruction per week to prepare students for successfully completing the GED exam. Instruction is provided for non-traditional students at easily accessible locations in their communities, such as housing developments, transition houses and social service agencies. Program partners provide participants with support services, including counseling and transportation.

Benefits: United Services clients who lack a high school credential are given the opportunity to study and prepare to take the GED exam. EASTCONN Adult Services provides on-site instruction at United Services in Putnam.
