English-as-a-Second-Language (ESL) Instruction

Both beginner and intermediate ESL instruction is offered to students, 17 and older, with some English skills. The program offers instruction in beginning reading, writing, listening and speaking. These courses will cover writing notes to your child’s teacher, business and personal letters, filling out checks and forms, as well as basic employability skills. Students are tested for initial placement.

Benefits: Students learn to speak and read English in a program that focuses on the practical use of everyday English; English-as-a-Second-Language (ESL) students will learn to communicate in English, both in society and/or on the job.
