Speech-language pathologists (SLPs) and speech-language pathology assistants (SLPAs) provide a range of services, including universal screening, progress monitoring and intervention services necessary for school-wide Scientific Research-Based Interventions (SRBI). In addition, SLPs continue to provide traditional student assessment, consultation, intervention and supervision services.
Benefits: EASTCONN speech-language pathologists participate in ongoing professional development and have access to the latest in testing materials to assess students needs and monitor progress. Students and teachers benefit from our specialized professional experiences, our contributions to school-wide Scientific Research-Based Interventions (SRBI), and our efforts to accommodate specific needs at each site. EASTCONN staff can help districts meet full-time or part-time staffing needs.
