CSDE Seeks input on ESSA transition
The Connecticut State Department of Education wants your input regarding the transition to the federal Every Student Succeeds Act. Through an online survey, the state is gathering feedback from all interested members of the public regarding key policy questions and Connecticut's transition to the new federal education law. The results will help decision makers to better understand your priorities and improve the quality of education in Connecticut. Administrators, teachers, parents and students all welcome to participate.
You can take the survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/CTESSASurvey
Pictured Above: Components of Student Centered Learning (SCL) are getting more attention in public schools. At a recent RSDC meeting, Diane Dugas, Director of the Center for Education Leadership provided an overview of a model that aligns with the Nellie Mae framework.
