Message from the Northeast District Department of Health:
Please note that the CDC advises that cloth face coverings should not be placed on young children under age 2, anyone who has trouble breathing, or is unconscious, incapacitated or otherwise unable to remove the mask without assistance.
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Recommends Use of Cloth Face Coverings
CDC now recommends wearing cloth face coverings in public settings where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain especially in areas of significant community-based transmission. Maintaining 6-feet social distancing remains critical to slowing the spread of the virus.
