EASTCONN’s Center for Educational Leadership and CREC Institute of Teaching and Learning invite you to a book study of Creating Effective Teams: A Guide for members and Leaders by Susan A. Wheelen. Based on the author’s many years of consulting experience with teams in the public and private sectors, Creating Effective Teams: A Guide for Members and Leaders describes why teams are important, how they function, and what makes them productive. Together we will explore stages of team development, roles and responsibilities of team leaders and members, frequent challenges of teams and strategies for success. Facilitated on-line dialogue with peers will provide an opportunity for participants to share resources and contribute to the learning.
Participants must purchase a copy of Creating Effective Teams: A Guide for Members and Leaders by Susan A. Wheelan and have access to Google Hangouts, to participate in this workshop. Emails with instructions for Google Hangouts will be sent prior to day 1.
