| Daylight Saving Time Update |
|
Beginning in 2007, daylight saving time (DST) will be extended in the United States. DST will start on March 11, 2007, which is three weeks earlier than usual, and it will end on November 4, 2007, which is one week later than usual. This results in a new DST period that is four weeks longer than in previous years. Unless certain updates are applied to your computer, the time zone settings for your computer's system clock may be incorrect during this four-week period. In particular, you must make sure that both your Windows operating system and your calendar programs are updated. Important! This update is only for PC's running Windows XP with Service Pack 2. To check to see if you have Service Pack 2, right click on MY COMPUTER (from the desktop) and choose PROPERTIES. and on the General Tab, under System, look for 'Service Pack 2'. [Show me] If you do not have Service Pack 2, please do not download the update, and notify the IT Department.
If you do have Service Pack
2, click the Download button
below to install the DST update for your
operating system.
NOTE: If the follow error occurs, the update has already been applied through Automatic Updates, and no further action is necessary.
