Strategic
Planning/School Improvement Planning
EASTCONN staff consultants can facilitate school/community
and individual organizations to reach consensus on vision, mission, goals and action plans
by using a variety of quality tools and processes. Opportunities to include the
perspective of many diverse stakeholders is a key component. Facilitated planning sessions
can take place over an extended period of time or a concentrated multi-day period.
Planning options range from one-time design consultation to long-term comprehensive
strategic planning processes. The outcome of this process is generally a
data-driven school improvement plan with annual
updates, however, customized planning options can be accommodated.

- Shared Purpose

contribution to work toward its achievement.
- Priorities for Change - Protection against overextension and concentration on those things that will truly make a
difference.
- Longer-term Concentrated Effort - Sustained over time to truly make an
impact.
- Communication Vehicle - All stakeholders in the system understand
strategic thinking supporting goals and action plans - a formal way of communicating
commitment to continuous improvement.
