Academy
of International
Arts and Science Studies
The Academy of
International Language and Performing Arts and Science Studies offers two different strands of study during summer
and school vacation periods. The International Language Arts features a rich array of international languages, dance,
music, noise, masks, theater and puppetry; Explorations in Madcap Math and
Alien Science focuses on math and science skills in a fun, challenging, and
problem-based learning format.

Summer School for Credit
Summer school is held for two
consecutive three-week sessions for area high school students (grades 9-12)
who want to make up failed courses. Courses are recommended and approved by
high school guidance personnel. Application should be made by students
through their guidance office. EASTCONN will report results to guidance
personnel who then apply credits to students' record. Classes are held
Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon for two three-week sessions. Courses include: English (4 years), math (4 years), social
studies and science.
Benefits:
Students can make up failed courses during
summer and not be held back. EASTCONN provides staff.

VESTA/Lifelong Learning
This after school program, located in
Willimantic, Plainfield and Norwich, provides students in grades 2-12 with
academic tutoring and homework support.
