for Early Childhood Providers

Charts-A-Course
Charts-A-Course is the statewide
professional development system for early education and school-age care. It
supports career development and program improvement by promoting the achievement
of national and state professional standards. EASTCONN provides the CCAC module
training and career counseling geared toward obtaining the Child Development
Associate (CDA) credential.

Early Childhood Staff
Training & Consultation
EASTCONN provides training, consultation and support on a wide variety of topics
to educators and/or early care providers. Topics related to child development,
social-emotional-behavioral competence, and early care education are offered.
EASTCONN also offers early literacy training specifically designed to strengthen
early literacy curriculum. Training and technical consultation will be developed
and provided for site and/or agency-specific audiences. Training may be held
on-site or at central locations within the region. EASTCONN has an extensive
early childhood lending library of curriculum, assessment tools and other
resources.
