community service.
Get with the BEAT (Out-of-School Youth):
This high school completion/employment program for eligible out of school youth
between the ages of 16 and 21, is funded by the Eastern Connecticut Workforce
Investment Board. It is designed to assist eligible out-of-school youth who want
to move from high school drop-out to high school graduate, to advance from
unemployed to gainfully employed, and to enter postsecondary programs. This
program includes a case manager who works with participants to overcome barriers
that prevent them from being successful in school and the workplace.
Other Adult Education Programs:
- EASTCONN's Roads to Success:
This intensive program combines basic skills and high school completion with
development of employability and work readiness skills, including basic

Cimochowski in Danielson at (860) 779-3770.
- EASTCONN, ETC. (Employment, Training, College):

With the assistance of a Transitions Coach, students learn about
postsecondary options and develop a transition plan which can include
visiting programs and completing applications and financial aid forms to
reach their postsecondary goals.
