Community Education
Programs [Fall 2007 Catalog]
EASTCONN offers many
short-term, non-credit
recreational and personal improvement courses to the community in the
areas of: Business and Computers, Dance and Music, Languages, Leisure and
Hobbies, Home and Garden, and Arts & Crafts. Courses run in the fall and spring
and are held during the day and evening. Programs are offered at a variety of
local sites throughout the region. Prices are very affordable.
Benefits:
- Classes are held nearby at community sites with easy access and plenty
of free parking.
- Technology has become easier to use and more affordable - anyone can
participate!
- A wide variety of classes provides something to satisfy every interest.

EASTCONN
Adventure Program
The EASTCONN Adventure program can “jump start” your group into a
cohesive team. Plan a single or multi day adventure program for your
class, group, staff or team at our facility in Hampton, Connecticut or
at your facility. EASTCONN Adventure staff will work with you to custom
design a program that will meet the unique needs of your group. Through
our experiential activities, participants learn strategies to increase
trust and develop communication, leadership and problem solving skills.
EASTCONN Adventure can help to build a supportive community, create
effective leaders, and develop a winning team. As participants challenge
themselves, they gain confidence, learn perseverance, and develop an
appreciation for peers, colleagues, and/or teammates.

people of various physical abilities and fitness levels.
