Meet New Images Staff Members:
Peter Landry, Barbara
Greenbaum, Deb Earl, Frankie
Piela and our Support Staff.

Peter Landry is a Staff
Developer in EASTCONN’s Training and Development department.
He has a B.S. in Biology, an M.A.T. in teaching, and holds
his CT teaching certificate for grades 7-12 (content areas:
Biology, Chemistry, General Science). He is a former high
school science teacher and science center educator, specializing
in inquiry-based learning for science. Prior to his time in
the public school systems, he spent twenty years as an industrial
chemist and quality control engineer. He presently is a coordinator
for Interdistrict Grants at both middle and high school levels. |

Barbara Greenbaum is a Staff Developer
and Writer In Residence at EASTCONN. She currently coordinates
two Interdistrict grants: New Images and Successful Journeys.
She holds a Masters in Secondary Education from St. Josephs
College and a M.F.A. in Fiction from the University of Southern
Maine. She is a poet and fiction writer who also recently
taught creative writing at the ACT school in Willimantic.
Prior to joining EASTCONN, Barbara was a full time business
woman in real estate.

Deb Earl is a staff development specialist
and the newest member of the EASTCONN Interdistrict team.
Deb has worked in outdoor and experiential education for
seventeen years as a lead instructor for programs such as
Outward Bound, Project Adventure, and the Breckenridge Outdoor
Education Center. Deb leads low ropes, high ropes, and multi
week expeditions facilitating youth, college age, and adult
programs in locations all over the world. Deb believes strongly
in adventure education and values its life-changing possibilities

Frankie Piela is a resource specialist
and a member of the EASTCONN Interdistrict team. As a trained
low ropes and high ropes Challenge Course facilitator, Frankie’s
ideas and creative plans have been an integral part of the
EASTCONN Adventure program for the past five years. A Connecticut
native, Frankie has over thirty years experience working
towards positive youth development. Frankie enjoys working
with people of all ages and her positive energy helps groups
meet their goals successfully.
