Connecticut Accreditation Facilitation Project (AFP)

The Connecticut Accreditation Facilitation Project (AFP) is an established resource system of regional teams providing critical leadership and support for the achievement of quality standards and excellence in early childhood programs.

NAEYC continues to work toward the Next Era of Accreditation. Changes to the accreditation system include new standards and accreditation performance  criteria, annual reporting requirements, unannounced visits, and new tools for self-study. In this time of transition, and as Connecticut programs move forward in the new system, the AFP can support you.

AFP services include:

  • Overviews of NAEYC's Program Standards and Accreditation Performance Criteria
  • Technical assistance with the process of accreditation
  • Individualized support for programs engaged in the self-study

For information on all of the NAEYC accreditation system, visit www.naeyc.org.
