Asbestos
Inspection & Management Planning
EASTCONN (State License #000083) provides services to school
systems as required by the State of Connecticut Department of Health, and
Federal Environmental Protection Agency's Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response
Act (AHERA). Services include, but are not limited to: building surveys for
the purpose of identification and management of asbestos containing
materials; development of Asbestos Management Plans for new or existing
facilities used for educational purposes; three year reinspections and
reassessments of known or suspect asbestos containing materials; required
2-hour Asbestos Awareness Training for maintenance and custodial personnel,
and Hazardous Communications Training.
Benefits:
- School systems can ensure that they are in compliance with state regulations
concerning asbestos without the expense of having an asbestos expert on staff.

are provided on an as-needed basis.

Hazardous
Materials Designated Person Support Services
We can provide you with a trained
Designated Person on a temporary or permanent basis to ensure that you
remain in compliance with all school related, state, and AHERA materials
regulations, or use our personnel to perform your six-month reassessment
inspections.
