Cooperative Purchasing

 A statewide cooperative purchasing partnership endorsed by the Alliance of Regional Educational Service Centers

This statewide collaborative cooperative purchasing initiative was formed to counter the rising costs of products used by schools and municipalities. As membership expands, we are able to expand the variety of products available at increased savings. Below are the products available through CREC and EASTCONN. Join one or both cooperatives depending on your purchasing needs.

 As we prepare for the upcoming bid process for 2008-2009, EASTCONN Cooperative Purchasing is asking for your continued participation and/or to consider membership in our cooperative. As we look to grow our membership, this partnership will enable us to expand the variety of products available to you at increased savings. We presently solicit bids in the areas of: Custodial Supplies Foodservice (bread, milk, ice cream, groceries & ala carte, and cafeteria paper and supplies) Fuel (#2 heating and diesel)

The 2008-2009 EASTCONN membership fee is $50.00, but if your district is also signing up for the Foodservice bids, the fee will be $75 for the year; this additional fee covers the cost of food for our foodservice meetings.

If you are interested in any of the items offered through the EASTCONN Cooperative, please fill out the attached membership form and return it to the Cooperative Purchasing office by March 1, 2008.
